Thanks for joining me!
Being a business analyst isn’t easy at the best of times. Sometimes a helping hand along the way can make life and your career a little bit better.
I’ve been on a journey as a business analyst and through life for over 15 years, and I’ve learned a lot of valuable lessons.
You are more than just your chosen career or vocation. You’re a person, complex and multifaceted.
To treat you as though you are only a business analyst does you a great disservice.
I’ve experienced that many times as my career and life has developed and unfolded.
That’s why I began to realise and understand the concept of The Way of the BA; a holistic, all-encompassing approach to balancing what can be a demanding career in Business Analysis and your life outside of your work.
There are a lot of valuable resources out there that can teach and instruct you in the technical aspect of Business Analysis. However, finding help on how to deal with challenges in and out of the workplace is something that is less readily available.
The Way of the BA is about balance.
You’re more than just your 9-5, and you’ll be a better BA for accepting this truth.
I’m here to help, so feel free to ask me for any advice and guidance, and hopefully, the content here will help you on your own BA journey.
Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. — Izaak Walton
