Information we collect about you.
The Way of the BA collects information about you when you submit an enquiry, access one of our services, provide your details requesting information, join our mailing list, download or purchase one of our resources through the website, or engage on our community channels, including the forum and online messaging services we provide. Information collected may be personal (“PII”) or non-personal in nature.
Personally Identifiable Information.
Personal Identifiable Information (“PII”) is information that identifies you as an individual, such as your name, home or work address, e-mail details, and telephone number. We limit the types of PII we collect on this site and its associated communication channels to only that which is relevant to enable us to carry out our operational processes.
Non personal information is information that cannot be used to directly identify you. If you visit this website to read information, such as information about one of our services, we may collect certain non-personal information about you from your computer’s web browser.
How we use your information.
The Way of the BA and its affiliates may contact you with relevant information about additional services, resources or events that may be of interest to you, or to invite you to take part in feedback in relation to our services and events.
Your right to privacy and sharing information.
The Way of the BA does not share your information with any third party, unless we receive a request to aid or assist enquiries from law enforcement authorities or similar functions. Your information will never be sold to third parties, or used for marketing purposes by entities and parties external to The Way of the BA.
Your data, marketing and communications.
The Way of the BA may contact you periodically by email or telephone to provide information regarding programs, products, services and content that may be of interest to you. Furthermore, some of the features on this site allow you to communicate with us using an online form. If your communication requests a response from us, we may send you a response via e-mail. There is a possibility that our email response or confirmation to you may include some of your personal information. You have the right to opt out of any communications via these channels at any time by submitting a request to us in writing at email@example.com.
Your data rights, data retention and disposal.
The Way of the BA will retain your information for as long as you are registered with us as interested in, or using our services. You may request at any time for your information to be removed from our database or to change the way you are contacted (see Requesting access to, updating & removing your data section below). As an individual, you have control over what information we hold about you, how it is used, and whether you are happy for us to keep it. General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) states that you have:

- The right to rectification – to rectify the information we hold if it is incomplete or inaccurate
- The right to erasure – “to be forgotten”; to have your information removed from our data repositories

- The right to data portability – to obtain your information in order to transfer it to another service or organisation
- The right to object; and – to object to the way in which we are using your data
- The right not to be subjected to automatic decision making including profiling – to have your information removed from any databases subject to automatic decision making processes
